Action Plans and Annual Reports

Signatory Action Plans

APC signatories are required to submit their Action Plan within three months of signing the Covenant.

The Action Plan describes how you intend to contribute to the APC’s goals. It can cover up to a  five year period and should be reviewed and updated as required in an effort to promote continuous improvement.

Draft APC Action Plans should be submitted electronically as one file in either Microsoft Word or PDF to: actionplans@packagingcovenant.org.au

Your plan will be reviewed by our Member Services team and any relevant feedback provided as comments within the Word document.

You may submit a confidential and a public version as two files if you wish.

There is no requirement to post us a hard copy of your action plan in the mail. We prefer to receive them via email.

Annual Reports

Signatories are required to report against their Action Plans by 31 March each year.

The APC provides an online reporting template to facilitate this and a range of resources to assist you such as the Annual Reporting Self Help Guide, Guide to Good Practice Reporting and Audit Ready Guide, all available via our resources database.

Reports should detail the progress your organisation has made towards completing the actions outlined in your action plan and other relevant activities you may have undertaken that contribute to broader product stewardship and sustainability outcomes.

Annual Reporting Results 2012

The APC Secretariat has put together a summary of the annual reporting results of all signatories to provide a benchmark for your company's performance compared to the average.
