Project Description / Objectives
The objective is the establishment of infrastructure for new recycle bins to be placed in identified 'high-risk' areas within the Bass Coast Shire - covering Grantville, San Remo, Wonthaggi and Inverloch. The Bass Coast Shire has identified a growing problem of public place littering, due to overall increase in consumption of food and drinks due to increased tourism to these areas.    This project aims to influence behaviour and gain support of the public to increase recycling rates, further reducing the amount of waste sent to landfill.
