National Projects Group (NPG)

The NPG consists of representatives from industry, State and local Government.  The role of the NPG includes:
 
  • Advising on priority areas for project funding;
  • Project evaluation in accordance with agreed procedures; and
  • Managing nationally funded projects and generally monitoring the progress of all Covenant projects.
 
The NPG seeks to ensure priority funding for projects that deliver significant tonnages against Covenant targets, and actively facilitates the development of such projects. 
 
The NPG meets at least four times a year in varying jurisdictions. There is a nominated Chair that rotates annually between the three sectors of industry, State and local government.
